We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the group of Assistant Professor Marcus Buggert as a Postdoctoral Researcher to work on a project concerning the immunobiology of T cells in tissues.

The project will be focused on understanding what role tissue resident memory T cells (TRMs) play in health and HIV disease. Specifically, the candidate will determine what unique functions that are linked to efficient HIV-specific TRM responses and also assess the degree of viral reservoirs in TRMs. The research project will be in collaboration with domestic and international researchers and clinicians – therefore longer periods might be spent abroad.

The present position is based on new funding available immediately. If several highly qualified candidates are identified we may opt to hire two Postdoctoral Researchers.
