Do you want to contribute to top quality medical research?

Our research group develops, validates and applies advanced imaging techniques within a fast-paced clinical environment. We work to gain actionable quantitative imaging biomarkers and deeper pathophysiological insights with a special focus on neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative disorders. Our research areas include ALS, MS, movement disorders, dementia and Covid-19. We have immediate access to the latest imaging technologies, including the next-generation clinical 7 Tesla MRI Terra.X scanner and the first clinically approved photon-counting CT Naeotom Alpha. We also have extensive international collaborations and focus on supporting impactful large-scale projects. As a research assistant, you will be an integral part of our team that are constantly pushing the boundaries using the newest medical imaging technology.

Your mission

Your primary role in the team will be to optimize and support post-processing pipelines for advanced quantitative MRI and photon-counting CT data. This includes coordinating data storage, pseudonymization streams and advanced image analysis techniques together with clinical colleagues.

You will be responsible for developing automated post-processing analysis tools for radiological research studies on our custom multi-user dockerized computing server. Your work should be structured and well-documented, providing the grounds and contributions for high-quality scientific publications.

Moreover, our current workflow allows for some of the work to be done remotely. Additionally, there are opportunities for growth and advancement within the research group. You will be based in Huddinge but will also work in Solna if needed.

Your contributions will help advance the field of imaging and improve patient outcomes. Please join us in making a meaningful impact on medical research.
