In our research group you will find a unique ability to work closely with top researchers in the field of neurotraumatology and critical care in order to understand the pathophysiology in the acute phase following a traumatic brain injury, but also study the association between brain injury and inflammation many years following trauma. We offer an interesting and international research environment where you will be given the possibility to work with world leading, high quality research.

Your mission

You will work on your own research project on finding clinical utility by artificial intelligence analyses of intensive care unit data. You will also work together with clinical researchers in the field of neurotrauma and neuro-critical care, and assist them with curation and analyses of collected data concerning cerebral metabolism, coagulation and neuroinflammation.

Your profile

We expect you to have profound statistical skills (preferably in R and Matlab, but knowledge about other statistical programs and programing languages is meritorious) and competence in machine learning, longitudinal data analyses and work with so called “big data”. Basic competence in the field of neurology, neurosurgery and critical care is meritorious, as well as a completed PhD within this field. Excellent English skills is a requirement.
