The Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME) at Karolinska Institutet is looking for a driven, creative, analytical, thorough, and responsible research assistant with a background in, for example, behavioural or social sciences and with experience of qualitative methods for data collection and analysis. You should also have an interest in climate change work in the health sector.
About us
The position belongs to the research group Leadership in Healthcare and Academia, which is part of the Medical Management Centre at the department. The research is mainly focused on health care governance and organisation. The research conducted is interdisciplinary and several disciplines meet. The group also provides leadership education at undergraduate and graduate level and develops and delivers programmes aimed at professionals in healthcare and academia.
As a research assistant, you will collaborate with researchers in a project to investigate the health care sector’s actions to reduce its negative environmental impact to achieve climate goals. Your tasks will include conducting scoping reviews, conducting data collection (e.g., interviews, observations, documents – all in Swedish), transcribing and analysing data using qualitative methods and scientific theory, compiling results, and contributing to the writing of scientific articles in English. Together with the researchers, you may also participate in the development of an intervention to be implemented. The project is interdisciplinary, practice-oriented and based on the principles of action research. Teaching may also be included.
