Are you interested in the genetic basic of musical skills? Please join our team to explore the genetic architecture of different music related traits and their relationships.

Your mission

You will join our lab as a part-time research assistant. You will handle large genetically informative data and conduct advanced structural equation and univariate and bivariate twin modelling using the OpenMX package in R. The proposed research will inform gene-finding approached about which music-related measures can best be combined across different cohorts.

Your profile

Required: Background in psychological or biological sciences with advanced statistical knowledge and excellent coding skills in R as well as experience in twin modelling and the OpenMx package in R.  Additional knowledge in the field of music genetics is desired.
