As a postdoctoral fellow, you are expected to take a leading role in the entire research process, from research planning and project administration, ethical application, data processing and analysis, to interpretation and dissemination of research findings. You are also expected to participate in the supervision of doctoral or master students and teaching.

This eligibility requirement must be fulfilled at the latest at the time of the employment decision. It is considered as an advantage if you have completed your doctoral degree within the last three years, if there are special reasons, your degree may have been completed earlier.

Specific requirements for the position:

  • Doctoral degree in medicine, epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, or a related field.

  • Ability to work independently and systematically.

In addition, it is advantageous to have good previous experience from work with neurological diseases. Experience from international collaboration and project administration is also considered very meritorious.
