Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME) works within some of the key areas important to fulfilling the motto of Karolinska Institutet ´to improve human health´. We focus on research, development and education in the following areas: medical and healthcare education, informatics, management, ethics, and suicide prevention. We are now looking for one or two postdoctoral researchers to work on the following projects:
You will be working at the National Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention (NASP) as part of an international team that is focused on research in the field of mental health and suicide prevention. As a postdoc you will design the protocols of the studies required by these projects, supervise their implementation, analyse quantitative data and lead the preparation of manuscripts reporting the findings. You will also offer scientific support and collaborate in work related to these projects such as participation and presentations in the technical project meetings, writing reports on the progress of the ongoing projects to the research Consortium, as well as assisting in project and financial management.
Qualified to be employed as a postdoctor is one who has obtained a doctorate or has equivalent scientific competence. It is considered as an advantage if you have completed your doctoral degree within the last three years, if there are special reasons, your degree may have been completed earlier. Applicants who have not completed a doctorate at the end of the application period may also apply, provided that all requirements for a completed degree are met before the (intended) date of employment. This must be substantiated by the applicant's main supervisor, director or equivalent.
