We are looking for a part-time researcher to join our translational research group at the Institution for Medicine, Solna. In a well-established network of cardiovascular research, our group is focused on studying the functional roles of non-coding RNA within vascular disease. Our research projects are largely based on state-of-the-art genomic technologies, deployed on samples stemming from multiple patient cohorts, through collaborations with several leading universities in Europe and USA.
Your responsibilities will include oversight of ongoing sequencing projects, data analysis, and integration of data into either current or new research projects. You will provide key input into new research hypotheses and study design, based on your clinical knowledge and interpretation of results from computational analyses.
The employment is part-time and thought to possibly complement current employment. The employment degree may vary between periods depending on the current workload.

Qualified to be employed as a postdoctor is one who has obtained a doctorate or has equivalent scientific competence. It is considered as an advantage if you have completed your doctoral degree within the last three years, if there are special reasons, your degree may have been completed earlier. Applicants who have not completed a doctorate at the end of the application period may also apply, provided that all requirements for a completed degree are met before the (intended) date of employment. This must be substantiated by the applicant's main supervisor, director or equivalent.
