At the Division of Rheumatology, Department of Medicine, Solna, we conduct research on diseases affecting the musculoskeletal system, including inflammatory and non-inflammatory diseases. The Division of Rheumatology offers good opportunities for clinical research on large and unique patient groups from the clinic along with biomedical and experimental animal research.
Your work will include coordination of research projects within SLE and lupus nephritis, for example ReBioLup (http://rebiolup.com). Your duties will cover work with all different phases of our research projects, including design, coordination, conduct (including biostatistics) and dissemination, as well as supervision of junior researchers and students within the group.
We are looking for you who have propulsive, leadership and administrative capacity. It is an advantage if you are able to understand and speak Swedish, at least at a basic level, but you should be fluent in English, both spoken and written English. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. Previous experience of working with the current tasks and research in autoimmunity and SLE is meritorious. Expertise in R and SPSS for biostatistics is required, especially prediction models
Qualified to be employed as a postdoctor is one who has obtained a doctorate or has equivalent scientific competence. The position is located within the Department of Medicine, Solna. The department consists of twelve divisions and each division consists of several research groups. The position is located within the research group Per-Johan Jakobsson, team Ioannis Parodis. The work touches on various aspects of autoimmunity and SLE.
