The Department of Clinical Neuroscience (CNS) conducts research and education in the field of neuroscience from the molecular level to the society level. Division
This position is placed within Anna Fogdell-Hahn´s research group. The focus of the group is currently to work with autoimmune diseases and the consequences of chronic treatment with biopharmaceutical drugs (biologicals). As previous partners in an EU-project and with the current Vinnova grant, we have collaborations with the industry and are aiming at building up a sustainable transfer of methods for monitoring anti-drug antibodies (ADA) in clinical practice. We are also responsible for the monitoring of ADA in the COMBAT-MS study and have initiated a European platform supporting ADA and drug level testing called BIOPIA.

Duties
We are searching for a person with knowledge in immunology, keen on becoming an expert in immunogenicity, preferentially with experience of implementation of clinical immunology in treatment studies. The tasks of the position are basic research of mechanisms leading to immunogenicity as well as to develop, validate and apply anti-drug antibody (ADA) tests in clinical routine.

Entry requirements
Qualified to be employed as a postdoctor is one who has obtained a doctorate or has equivalent scientific competence. We are looking for an applicant with a doctorate degree in pharmacology, immunology, biomedicine or similar. When evaluating the merits of the applicants we will place particular emphasis on the potential synergy of their research interests with the scientific interests of the Department and CMM, as well as the quality and level of previous research activities. It´s desirable that you as an applicant are accurate and independent at work. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are a merit.
