The Strategic Research Programme in Cancer (StratCan) at Karolinska Institutet (KI) announces funding for three Senior Researcher positions within Cancer Research including basic and translational/clinical cancer research.
The positions are intended for highly talented researchers in the process of consolidating their independent research program. All researchers in receipt of these strategic funds are expected to work as research group leaders.

Individuals who graduated earlier than 2005 may eligible if there is particular reason for them to claim deductable  time, such as in the event of parental leave and sickness. For clinicians a full-time clinical position can be counted as deductible time (maximum 3 years). Reason, dates and extent must be clearly specified in the application and verified with the relevant documentation.
