Do you want to contribute to better health for all?

Join the IMPACT Research group, a dynamic and mission-driven team at the forefront of digital health research. Our research within the group is focused on the quantification and modelling of eating and physical activity behaviours, measured through novel technologies at home, school and real-life environments. As our portfolio of EU-funded projects grows, we are looking for a committed project coordinator to help us deliver high-quality science through well-organized, cross-functional collaboration. With us, you get to work in an international environment with plenty of room for your own initiatives, as well as be part of a committed team that values collaboration and development.

Your mission

As Project coordinator, you will play a central role in ensuring smooth administration of effort and deliveries across all our research projects, including our EU-funded collaborative research. You will also need to be involved in the group’s research efforts, as defined by the needs of running projects and activities.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Maintain an overview of all active projects and ensure consistency in procedures and reporting.
  • Create and coordinate administrative and financial processes for smooth reporting across all the parallel project efforts.
  • Responsible for appropriate reporting, follow-up, and documentation according to EU regulations.
  • Plan and support project meetings, workshops, and external events, including communication with various relevant stakeholders.
  • Responsible for onboarding and training of new team members across a wide range of administrative and research processes.
  • Assist in coordinating and implementing research-related tasks, as required by the needs of active research efforts.

This role offers you the opportunity to combine organizational, scientific, administrative, and collaborative skills to support high-quality research with real-world impact.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is structured, responsible, and motivated to contribute to the successful coordination of research projects, including EU-funded collaborative efforts. We will value domain knowledge relevant to our research interests that are relevant to nutritional science, behavioral analytics and technologically assisted behavioral monitoring tool deployment. Thus, a solid scientific background and training is important as well.

Enjoying both independent work and collaboration in a team is an essential quality for this role. The ability to build strong working relationships, take initiative, and be solution-oriented is crucial, as is managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining an overview of complex processes. We value strong communication skills, collaborative ability across multiple disciplines and ability to interact with numerous external partners. Your positive and service-minded attitude will contribute to a supportive team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in nutrition or a related field. Published research is welcome, but not necessary.
  • At least two years of active involvement in multidisciplinary research projects and documented experience in coordinating EU research projects, including administrative, financial, and organizational tasks.
  • Strong skills in project planning, scheduling, documentation, and reporting. Relevant examples of authored project reports will be appreciated.
  • Familiarity with supporting research processes for EU projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and documented ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and with high attention to detail.
  • Data analysis skills (mainly with regards to performance indicator extraction) will be appreciated.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
