Come and join the Unit of Molecular Neurobiology at the department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm. In the research group led by Professor Goncalo Castelo—Branco, we are particularly interested in the molecular mechanisms defining the transcriptomic and epigenomic states of oligodendrocyte lineage cells, with the aim to design epigenetic based-therapies to prevent and treat neuroinflammation in demyelinating diseases. We are looking for a person who can assist with several duties related to ongoing projects.
The successful candidate will be assisting several different research projects currently running in the research group, including mouse models of multiple sclerosis, human oligodendrocyte cell culture, CRISPR based screens and single-cell omics, and will be integrated in a multidisciplinary team comprising computational, molecular and cellular biologists
