Division

Sickness absence affects individuals, health care, insurance organizations, employers, and society. In the Division of Insurance Medicine, we conduct research, systematic literature reviews, post graduate training, and networking regarding sickness absence, disability pension, health, and living conditions. We study sickness absence in general, regarding different diagnoses (e.g. psychiatric, musculoskeletal, MS, diabetes, coronary heart disease, breast cancer etc.) and in different occupational groups and life situations. Our studies are based on data from different registers, surveys and interviews. You find more information from our website: https://ki.se/im. We are now looking to recruit one or two senior researchers.

Duties

The senior researcher will work in a project with focus on sustainable working life. The first aim of the project is to construct measures of sustainable working life using nationwide register data about sickness absence, work disability pension, unemployment and other labour market measures. The second aim is to examine predictors of longer working life with register and survey data. Duties include study planning and statistical analyses with register and survey data independently and in collaboration with other researchers in the group as well as writing international scientific articles.
