The Division of Infectious Diseases performs research and education in close collaboration with the Karolinska University Hospital. The research teams address a wide range of infectious diseases using clinical, epidemiological, and experimental approaches.

Duties

The postdoctoral researcher will oversee clinical study inclusion and biobanking, design experimental studies to investigate novel diagnostic approaches, and perform bioinformatic analysis of mycobacterial sequencing data. The project will include analysis and visualization of large datasets and the potential integration of different types of data. The postdoctoral researcher will be involved in all parts of the projects, ranging from generating research hypotheses, planning, and executing laboratory work, data analysis, supervision of students, statistical analysis, and writing scientific publications.
