The Medical Inflammation Research (MIR) Group at the Division of Immunology, Karolinska Institute, aims to improve human health by identifying etiology and regulatory pathways of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and pioneering developments of tolerogenic vaccination.
We are looking for postdoctoral researchers to lead and coordinate projects with a focus on tolerogenic vaccine development against different subtypes of rheumatoid arthritis. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with leading experts, access cutting-edge resources, and contribute to transformative discoveries that can shape the future of autoimmune disease treatment.
We are interested in identifying etiology and regulatory pathways involved in the development of autoimmune disease, in particular rheumatoid arthritis, and to develop tolerogenic vaccination. As a postdoctoral fellow, you are expected to take a leading role in the entire research process, from research planning and project administration, data processing and analysis, to interpretation and dissemination of research findings. You will be working on mouse models, producing and purifying vaccine protein, and doing flow cytometry-based immunological analysis. You are also expected to participate in the supervision of master students and teaching.
To be eligible for employment as a postdoctor, a doctoral degree or a foreign degree deemed to be equivalent to a doctoral degree is required. This eligibility requirement must be fulfilled at the latest at the time of the employment decision. It is considered an advantage if you have completed your doctoral degree within the last four years, if there are special reasons, your degree may have been completed earlier.
