Amanuensis in Cognitive Neuroscience

Are you passionate about scientific research? And do you want to help conduct cutting-edge research on the topic of somatosensory neuroscience? As a Amanuensis at the Somatosensation&Gargalesis, you will support researchers to investigate how the human brain interprets touch!

Your mission

You will assist in collecting data from human experiments including psychophysical, physiological, and kinematic recordings. Besides data collection, the position involves all steps of the research from literature review to implementation of study design, data collection, data analysis and preparation of manuscripts. 

Your profile

• You need to be a university student and study medicine, neuroscience, cognitive science, psychology, or a related discipline.
• You have good programming skills (R or Python).
• Any previous experience with human experiments will be positively evaluated.
• You have a keen interest in experimental approaches to study touch perception.
• You are motivated to work independently as well as in a team environment.
