We are an academic research lab in the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB) at Karolinska Institutet (KI) and SciLifeLab in Stockholm, Sweden (https://www.hausserlab.org) looking for a research assistant with a biostatistics background.

Your mission

You will perform research to identify quantitative principles in tumor biology, by combining statistical analysis of high-dimensional data and mathematical modeling.

Your profile

  • Masters-level education in biostatistics
  • Familiarity with bioinformatics, for example in the form of degree projects
  • Experience with machine learning methods and deep neural networks
  • Good cross-disciplinary communication skills
  • Mastery of Python, R, SAS, Stata
  • Good mastery of English
  • Previous international experience in biomedical research (at least 6 months)          In addition, the candidate’s personal skills will be strongly valued.
