Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME) works within some of the key areas important to fulfilling the motto of Karolinska Institutet ´to improve human health´. About the unit
The Unit for Bioentrepreneurship (UBE) conducts research on and education in innovation and entrepreneurship.

A two-year global Master's programme is offered at the unit, together with programme elective and single subject courses. UBE is the KI node of the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (an academic collaboration between KI, the Stockholm School of Economics, the Royal Institute of Technology, the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, and Stockholm University) proving interdisciplinary education.

We are looking for a motivated and responsible team player, who will further develop and lead our educational activities focusing on the students of the masters programme in bioentrepreneurship. You have an innovative and open-minded attitude towards your work and work environment and a passion for education, product development and project management in the medical and health care field.

Assignments

  • Develop and lead courses in the masters programme in bioentrepreneurship with a focus on product development and the biodesign process. The course leadership includes course planning, lecturing, grading, course evaluation and other course administration.
  • Lead courses and lecture in scrum methodology for project management
  • Be part of the overall quality improvement processes of the masters programme

Entry requirements
The following qualifications are required for the position:

  • University degree with a major in product development
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product development from MedTech
  • Proficient English both orally and in writing
  • Documented experience of working according to the biodesign process
  • Documented hands on experience from teaching according to the biodesign process
  • Documented experience of prototyping in product development
  • Documented experience of project management and more specifically in scrum project methodology
  • Documented experience in teaching and education (in English) at University level
  • Industrial experience of project management.

The following qualifications are considered an advantage:

  • The holder of this position must find appropriate lecturers to the courses, why an established network in the Life Science industry is considered an advantage
  • Good knowledge in Swedish
