Our unit conducts high-quality research in the field of eye and vision. As our research environment is closely integrated with the clinic care at St. Erik Eye Hospital and Karolinska University Hospital, we provide unique opportunities by creating a flow between basic, translational, and clinical research in the area of ophthalmology.
This research project aims to elucidate the epidemiology of vision impairment and blindness in Inherited Retinal Dystrophies (IRD). The work also involves teaching epidemiological methods at master level. The post doc position is for a period of two years.
