Would you like to contribute to improve health for women and their infants? If so, join our research group in reproductive epidemiology which consists of researchers, postdocs and PhD-students conducting studies related to pregnancy, delivery and the neonatal period using national population-based health and quality registers. The successful applicant is expected to take part both in scientific and more practical activities such as literature review, and assisting with ethic committee applications, which are related to conductance of the projects within reproductive epidemiology. In particular, the applicant is expected to be involved in the ongoing studies on maternal chronic illness during pregnancy and offspring outcome.
Education: The successful applicant should have a MSc in epidemiology. A background in the medical sciences is essential.

Location
The position is located within the Department of Medicine, Solna. The department consists of twelve divisions and each division consists of several research groups. The position is located within the research group of reproductive epidemiology which is a young and rapidly growing group at the Clinical Epidemiology Division and includes 30 professionals, including researchers, postdocs and PhD-students. Our research focuses on risk factors and interventions during pregnancy, childbirth and the neonatal period as well as outcomes for mother and infant. We have a strong collaboration with clinical departments, including paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology and other national and international research groups as well as other organizations like the World Health Organisation (WHO). The group has extensive experience in research in perinatal outcomes using advanced methods in biostatistics and clinical epidemiology.
