The position will be situated in the predictive medicine group. Duties include activities in on-going projects in the area of cancer histopathology image data analysis. Duties will also cross ongoing Parkinson's disorder projects including register based studies of medication use and PD, risk of undesirable outcomes among PD patients. 

Your mission

  • Data handling, quality control, and file preparation.
  • Image analysis.
  • Register linkage.
  • Statistical analyses.
  • Preparing drafts of manuscripts. 

Your profile

Qualified to be employed as a postdoctor is one who has obtained a doctorate or has equivalent scientific competence. Applicants who have not completed a doctorate at the end of the application period may also apply, provided that all requirements for a completed degree are met before the (intended) date of employment. This must be substantiated by the applicant's main supervisor, director or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as epidemiology, biostatistics, bioinformatics, computational biology, biology or similar subject.
  • Prior experience analyzing medical image data using deep-learning-based models is required.
  • Prior experience analyzing register based, health care data is highly desired.
  • Fluent English is required.

Good team player with interpersonal skills, considerate manner with colleagues, organized, efficient, flexible in dealing with unpredictability and changes. The position is for 6 months with possibility of extension.
