The Department of Global Public Health is a multidisciplinary department with the aim to advance knowledge about challenges and opportunities for public health in a local, national, and global setting. Many researchers at the department are scientific advisors to authorities and other decision makers at regional, national, and international levels. The department is responsible for three international master’s programs and the researchers are actively involved in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The department has 12 research groups, around 120 PhD students and about 140 employees.
This position is placed within the research group Global Child Health and the Sustainable Development Goals team. Within our research group you will find an exciting opportunity to work with colleagues across multiple disciplines and geographies. We offer an engaging and international research environment where you will contribute to high quality research that’s directly relevant to accelerating progress against the Sustainable Development Goal agenda.
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to take the role as a Research Assistant in the Child Health and SDGs group, with the main purpose to support the set-up and implementation of research projects related to child health and the sustainable development goals. We anticipate the candidate to support work on different research projects. Tasks will include drafting applications, ethics applications, standard operating procedures, data collection tool, and will be given opportunities for data analysis and contributing to academic publications. The candidate will also be expected to be an active member of the research group, and may be asked to collaborate on related tasks.
The role will be 100% (full time) for 12 months.
