Do you want to contribute to better health for all?

This is a golden opportunity for someone who is interested in the relationship between health, new technology and work, and curious about what it is like to work in a successful, international research environment. You will be part of the Carin Håkansta research group Digital work environment and health. We offer a dynamic, supportive and open research climate, where you are encouraged to think freely and explore your own ideas.

Your mission

New technology and evolving consumer and production patterns are changing the world of work. This, in turn, affects the health, safety and wellbeing of workers. You will mainly be working with the research programme ALGOSH: Algorithmic management at work - challenges, opportunities and strategies for occupational safety and health and wellbeing. https://ki.se/en/imm/research/units-at-imm/unit-of-occupational-medicine/algosh-about-the-program. You will also work in other new and on-going projects on themes such as AI and algorithmic management.

In both ALGOSH and other projects, you will be working with top researchers from different scientific disciplines and countries. We need your help to make the research run smoothly and help with collecting and analysing qualitative as well as quantitative data.

You will have the opportunity to learn from the group and project members and contribute to the research we do.

Your profile

We think that you have a master’s in public health, occupational health, political economy, political science, labor market studies, work science or labor law, but we are open to a masters in other subjects.

Requirements:

  • Interest in how digital technology affects occupational safety and health.
  • Very good communication skills in English and Swedish.
  • Good ability to understand and write scientific texts in English.
  • Project management skills.

To be eligible for this post, a master’s degree is required. This eligibility requirement must be fulfilled at the latest at the time of the employment decision. It is considered as an advantage if you have completed your master’s degree within the last three years, if there are special reasons, your degree may have been completed earlier.
