The position is linked to Mikael Lundqvist's team in Johan Lundström's research group (Perceptual Neuroscience) at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Division of Psychology. In our research group, you will find a unique opportunity to work closely with leading researchers at the intersection of psychology and neuroscience, in a shared effort to understand human cognition at a neural level. As a research assistant, you will work on a series of projects that examine different aspects of working memory in humans. It is part of a larger project that also uses animal and computer models to understand this fundamental cognitive ability. You will primarily work with data collection that includes behavioral, EEG, MEG, MRI, and eye-tracking data.
We are looking for a responsible person with a strong interest in research in neuroscience.
You must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in cognitive neuroscience or equivalent. You must also have previous experience in collecting data such as eye-tracking, brain imaging, physiology, and behavioral data, preferably with multisensory stimuli. It is also highly meritorious if you have experience working as a research assistant, are social, responsible, and able to work independently with high accuracy. Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
