You will work on projects investigating exercise physiology, insulin sensitivity, and metabolic regulation using mouse models. The work includes both mechanistic studies and the development of new experimental protocols and assays. You will be part of a collaborative and interdisciplinary team and are expected to contribute to experimental design, data analysis, and manuscript preparatio
We are looking for a candidate who meets the following qualifications:
· Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
· Several years of postdoctoral experience in animal and experimental research related to diabetes and exercise physiology.
· Documented expertise in precise rodent microsurgery is a strong advantage.
· Experience with in vivo models of cellular metabolism is highly desirable.
· FELASA Function C certification is required.
· Experience from clinical studies and analysis of human samples is considered valuable.
· Additional merits include experience in cell signaling and bioinformatic analysis of large datasets.
· Excellent English communication and writing skills.
· Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work independently.
· Strong collaborative skills and a team-oriented mindset.
