We are looking for a motivated and driven candidate to join Dr. Shilpa Ray team, which is part of Senior Professor Anders Sönnerborgs research group at the Centrum for Infectious Medicine (CIM), subunit Clinical Infectious Diseases (CID), Department of Medicine, Huddinge, to study the role of novel drugs against antibacterial resistance. We are looking for an ambitious full-time research assistant in the team of Dr. Shilpa Ray, whose main working tasks will be to evaluate immunological changes in primary cells in response to bacterial infection. This includes extensive in vitro experiments including cell culture, standard molecular techniques, and bacteriological methods. The applicant will perform their research within the framework of Dr. Shilpa Ray’s projects and is also expected to give intellectual and administrative support to other members of the group.
The position is a fixed-term appointment for 6 months.
We are looking for a motivated and team-oriented person with excellent English skills and basic knowledge in primary cell culture techniques and flow cytometry.
