Your mission

We are looking for a dedicated, self-driven, curious and methodical research assistant for the interdisciplinary research project APOLLO 2028, which focuses on the well-being and resilience of healthcare professionals. The project is located at the Medical Management Centre (MMC) at the Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME), Karolinska Institutet.

APOLLO 2028 is an international research project funded by the EU's Horizon Europe programme. The project aims to develop research-based and innovative solutions to improve the mental health, well-being, and resilience of healthcare professionals in rapidly changing work environments. The focus is on identifying factors at the individual, organizational and system levels that affect the mental and physical health of staff. The goal is to develop cost-effective tools and models that strengthen leadership and collaboration in healthcare, as well as to promote sustainable work environments in the face of everyday and extreme challenges.

As a research assistant, you will:

  • Participate in the planning and implementation of different types of data collection and analysis with the most focus on qualitative methods (e.g. interviews and focus groups)
  • Analyze data using NVivo
  • Contribute to literature reviews, scientific reporting and project reporting to the EU
  • Collaborate with researchers and other project members within and outside Karolinska Institutet

Your profile

We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements:

  • At least a master's/magister degree in health economics, policy, management, public health science or another relevant field
  • Documented experience of qualitative research and analysis with NVivo
  • A strong interest in issues related to the health care professionals' work environment, well-being and resilience
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
  • Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and with high integrity

Experience of:

  • work in research projects in the health care sector
  • Previous work in an academic environment
  • to communicate and collaborate with different professions in healthcare
  • interdisciplinary collaboration and project work
  • work in change and development projects.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as integrity and the ability to handle the ups and downs that often occur in large international projects.

We intend to hire for 1 year.
