Your mission

The research group has expertise in molecular studies of aging. The current focus is on the vascular wall, but we also investigate age-related diseases in other tissues. We use modern genomic technologies that enable detailed analysis down to single-cell resolution to address disease-relevant questions using tissue samples from patients and various models.

We are looking for an ambitious full-time research assistant to work on the development of methods for analyzing somatic mutations from patient samples and animal models, as well as analytical methods to identify the molecular signatures of diseases and aging they carry. The research work will involve experimental laboratory tasks, including cell culture and standard molecular biology techniques, as well as genomics including bioinformatics.

The position is a fixed-term appointment for 6 months

Your profile

  • Experience with advanced bioinformatics analysis.
  • The ability to understand and communicate in English.
