Your mission

The Unit for Bioentrepreneurship (UBE) conducts research on and education in innovation and entrepreneurship. A two-year global Master's programme in Bioentrepreneurship (MBE) is offered at the unit, together with programme elective and single-subject courses.

We are looking for an ambitious and responsible team member. You have an open-minded attitude towards your work and work environment and a passion for education, entrepreneurship, and innovation, especially in the field of life science.

Your profile

Qualified to be employed as a Lecturer has demonstrated pedagogical proficiency and has obtained a doctorate or has equivalent scientific competence in the relevant subject area. You will be working as a teacher in a marketing and sales course at the Unit for bioentrepreneurship. As part of the unit faculty, you will contribute to other courses by delivering modules.

Your work will include:

  • Planning of courses, including planning relevant learning activities and finding guest speakers
  • Execution of courses, including teaching activities
  • Assessment and grading of assignments
  • Evaluation, reporting and archiving of courses
  • Taking an active part in the UBE faculty

Bases of assessment

Required qualifications (must be supported by documentation)

  • At least a master’s degree in business and economics
  • Experience in developing and running courses on master’s and other advanced levels
  • Experience from teaching at advanced levels in English
  • Practical experience of working in marketing and sales, nationally as well as internationally
  • Experience in teaching marketing and sales in the life science context
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English (both spoken and written)

Meriting skills

  • Experience in planning and running courses at KI
  • Experience in teaching entrepreneurship and related subjects at advanced levels
