Our research aims at understanding how the diversity of neurons and circuits in the central nervous system controls the versatility of motor behaviour. We use a range of advanced techniques including electrophysiology, optogenetics, imaging and molecular biology to link the function of neurons, circuits and behaviour.
The role of the research assistant is to assist in ongoing experiments with preparing solutions, immunohistochemistry and electrophysiology.
We are looking for a candidate who has obtained at least a bachelor's degree in neuroscience, psychology, pharmacology or a related field.
The applicant must have an in-depth knowledge in the field of neuroscience. In addition, the applicant must have a medical background and skills in programming and performing tasks independently.
