Biomedicum's HistoCore, led by Prof. Camilla Svensson, provides consultation, method development, and practical services to researchers at Karolinska Institutet. We offer an exciting and collaborative research environment where you can make a difference.

Your role

We are looking for a motivated individual interested in working side by side with the HistoCore staff, assisting with routine tasks as well as tailoring services to meet customer needs and performing other duties within the HistoCore.

You are comfortable working with chemical reagents and strictly following laboratory safety protocols. Precision and care in handling delicate biological samples are essential. You should also be prepared to work with frozen tissues in subzero temperatures and perform tasks in cold environments.

Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues are crucial. You are adaptable and can manage shifting project timelines and multiple parallel tasks efficiently. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and orderly workspace are important to success in this role.

A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting are highly valued.
