The Department of Global Public Health is a multidisciplinary department with the aim to advance knowledge about challenges and opportunities for public health in a local, national, and global setting. Research at the department is focused on how different societal and individual factors affect population health, and to develop and evaluate structural and individual-oriented interventions. Many researchers at the department are scientific advisors to authorities and other decision makers at regional, national, and international levels. The department has 12 research groups, about 110 PhD students and about 140 employees.
Our team is part of the PRIME health research group (Prevention, Intervention and Mechanisms in Public Health). As a Project Assistant, your work will contribute to advancing knowledge in climate extremes and population health research. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in diverse tasks that combine research, creativity, and administrative support.
Responsibilities and Duties
This is a permanent position, extent 20%.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual with a bachelor of arts including humanities, social sciences, or related disciplines. International experience and the ability to navigate and adapt to diverse cultural contexts is mandatory. Specific training in project management and agile approach is a merit. We value candidates who bring transferable skills from various sectors, particularly those demonstrating creativity, problem-solving, organizational excellence, and strong communication abilities. Previous work experience in project related to climate and health and/or agile project management is a merit. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is mandatory. The ability to speak different languages is a merit.
