The aim of this project, in which the applicant will be involved, is to characterize the immunological response in patients with diabetic foot ulcers to identify new therapeutic targets for treating chronic wounds. Our studies are based on human samples, combining clinical information with transcriptomic and proteomic analyses. Functional validation will be conducted using human skin organoids.

Your mission

The research specialist will spearhead the development of advanced methods involving human immune cells and serum, with a focus on single-cell RNA sequencing and proteomics, as well as ultra-deep tissue imaging techniques. Additionally, the research specialist will engage in the group's various research and development projects related to diabetes complications and provide supervision to students
