Research Group

Our research aims to improve both the survival rates and quality of life for children and adolescents treated for brain tumours. Our methods include cell cultures, animal models, registry studies, and clinical trials. The research group consists of about 15 people with diverse backgrounds and education, most of whom work at Biomedicum.

Your Role

We are looking for an ambitious individual with experience working with cell lines and animal models, as well as knowledge of bioinformatics.

Your profile

The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with strong proficiency in English. You have experience in laboratory work, including cell culture, sectioning, immunohistochemistry, and confocal microscopy. Experience in bioinformatics is a plus. Experience working with experimental animals is essential, and we would prefer you hold a FELASA B certification. As a research assistant, you will assist with ongoing projects and support the initiation of new projects as new questions arise. You should be responsible, easy to collaborate with, and able to take initiatives. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
