The Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics conducts research in epidemiology and biostatistics across a broad range of areas within biomedical science. The department is among the largest of its type in Europe and has especially strong research profiles in psychiatric, cancer, reproductive, pediatric, pharmaco, genetic, and geriatric epidemiology, eating disorders, precision medicine, and biostatistics.

Part of the success of our department is due to our collaborative spirit where one factor is that researchers at the Department share and co-finance common resources (e.g., IT and an applied biostatistics group). Your mission

We are looking for a research assistant to work closely with project managers and researchers within the framework of a large-scale register-based project. Your tasks will include data linkage, documentation, contact with record holders and project development, as well as contribute to various research projects.

Your profile

The ideal candidate has a master's degree in public health, epidemiology, medicine, psychology, economics, sociology, computer science, statistics, biology or related subjects. The candidate also needs to have good knowledge of English (written and spoken), and basic understanding of written Swedish. Previous experience with large-scale or register data, data management, programming and statistical analyzes is a strong merit.
