We offer an opportunity to make science more transparent and useful by analysing how intellectual property rights can support open science. We seek a highly motivated postdoc for a 2-year fully funded position. You will be working in an international research environment where you can contribute to research of the highest quality.
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be working within the Horizon Europe-funded project unpacking the possibilities of Intellectual Properties for Open Science (IP4OS) under the guidance of Dr. Gustav Nilsonne at Karolinska Institutet. Your primary goal is to coordinate work within the project to analyze how intellectual property rights can contribute to open science practices and develop a framework, together with relevant stakeholders. Specifically, you will:
The research environment is interdisciplinary and highly collaborative. You will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of other projects related to open science.
The project is interdisciplinary and experience in analysis of legal and regulatory issues is highly meritorious. Experience in open science and/or knowledge exploitation (patents and similar) is also highly meritorious.
Good knowledge of the English language is a requirement. Good communication and project management skills are valued. Experience in organizational work and stakeholder engagement is also an asset. We also attach great importance to personal suitability.
To be eligible for employment as a postdoctor a doctoral degree or a foreign degree deemed to be equivalent to a Swedish doctoral degree is required. This eligibility requirement must be fulfilled at the latest at the time of the employment decision. It is considered as an advantage if you have completed your doctoral degree within the last three years, if there are special reasons, your degree may have been completed earlier.
