At the Division of Insurance Medicine, interdisciplinary research and teaching is conducted on various aspects of sickness absence, health, work and life situations. We are around 70 people and run about 25 different research projects. You will get a unique opportunity to work together with top researchers in the field of insurance medicine and will be part of a group with several statisticians at the Division. Your mission

We are looking for two statisticians to work with statistical analyses of data material, management of large databases and programming in close collaboration with project managers, project participants and other statisticians. There are currently five statisticians and about ten epidemiologists at the Division and you will be part of the statistician group. The positions are full-time (100%) permanent positions.

Your profile

We are looking for somebody who has an academic education in statistics or an equivalent education. Good experience of statistical analyses, experience of working with large databases/nationwide Swedish registers/register data/survey data as well as of analyses, e.g. in SAS, STATA, R or SPSS is meritorious. Good knowledge of Swedish is a requirement, as is a high degree of accuracy. Good knowledge of English is an advantage. The work involves close collaboration with others at the Division, which is why good collaboration skills are of great importance. We also attach great importance to personal suitability.
