Do you want to contribute to top quality medical research?

The Norberg lab investigates the CMA pathway in depths both at cellular and organismal level, to explore the intriguing possible role of this pathway in various human disorders. The research involves proteomics, transcriptomics as well as genetic, biochemical, and molecular and computational biological tools in vitro (cell models), in vivo (animal models) and in patient samples.

A one-year postdoctoral position is available in the Norberg lab. The Postdoctoral Fellow that joins the team will investigate how CMA functions and affects the onset and/or development of different human pathological conditions. The work will be performed using genetically modified animal models. The work will be performed in a creative, inspiring, and vibrant research environment.

The appointment will be at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, Karolinska Institutet. For more information please visit: Protein degradation pathways – Helin Norberg's research group
