Do you want to contribute to top quality medical research?

In our research group, you will find a unique opportunity to work closely with leading experts in neuroradiology and hospital physics. We utilize the latest advanced imaging techniques such as clinical 7 Tesla MRI and photon-counting CT to develop new quantitative imaging biomarkers. Our goal is to enhance diagnostics and treatment, as well as to increase understanding of neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases. We offer an engaging and international research environment where you can contribute to high-quality research at an international top level.

Your mission

As a research assistant in neuroradiology, your task is to process, analyze, and compile research data for an ongoing project on multiple sclerosis (MS). You will work in a translation team focusing on understanding how factors like genetics contribute to disease progression and treatment response in MS. You will work with MRI data from national and international studies to address the research project's questions. Your duties include quality control, radiological assessment, and semi-/manual segmentations. You will also be involved in clinical studies and apply advanced MRI techniques.

Your profile

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a board-certification in radiology within the EU and documented experience in MRI research on MS. Previous experience with radiological assessments for clinical trials is a requirement. Subject-specific knowledge of neuroradiology and pediatric neuroradiology is a particularly important merit. Experience in the post-processing of quantitative MRI techniques is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal skills in English are required. Great emphasis will be placed on personal attributes such as the ability to work independently, and organizational, communication, and social skills.
