We are an international and ambitious research group situated at the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology, at Biomedicum with Karolinska Institutet. We have a broad range of research interests from developmental biology to RNA biology.

Your mission

You will be part of the Andersson lab, responsible for setting up plugs, maintaining mouse colonies, and ensuring the welfare of lab animals. You will perform in utero nano-injection and contribute to our 3R efforts to reduce the numbers of animals used in life sciences. We expect that you will be a long-term member of our lab, and will train you in other techniques to broaden your experimental and technical skills (eg virus production, if needed). 

Your profile

You must have a FELASA accreditation and a track record of working with rodents. You should have documented experience with small animal surgery, and with ultrasound equipment. You have experience in ultrasound-guided in utero injection. You have experience working with virus and are familiar with safety routines. You are familiar with journal keeping and animal welfare regulations.
