We invite applications for research assistant in the research group of Camilla Svensson, professor in cellular and molecular pain physiology. The position will be placed in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, which has collegial, international and dynamic research environment. Our group has a strong focus on pain mechanisms in arthritis and fibromyalgia and offer an exciting and collaborative research work environment where you can make a difference.
We look for a motivated person with interest in interacting with and helping a dynamic group of about 12 researchers. Your primary mission will be to support different aspects of ongoing projects working closely with lab members. You will be to assist experimentally with for example:
You have experience from working with diverse lab methods including PBMC isolation, immunohistochemistry and ELISA analsyis, and you are eager to learn more. Knowledge in the use of electronic research documentation and biobanks and is considered an advantage. Acquaintance to the Swedish language will be advantageous, but specifically fluency in oral and written English is a prerequisite for an application.

You have a deep sense of responsibility, take initiatives and have capacity and flexibility to anticipate and solve daily challenges.
