Our research group focuses on associations between digital media (i.e. computer gaming and social media) and metal health among children, adolescents and young adults. We also have a special interest in children with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and autism and how to best support these children in school and within the health care setting. We collaborate with several international research groups, as well as with Swedish authorities and patient organizations.
Working as a research assistant means that you will be assisting the research group leader with tasks such as literature searches, writing research reports, administrative tasks, and basic analyses and data management. It is possible that the work with also include data collection using surveys or interviews. This is a part time position during 6 months with possible extension.
A bachelor's or master's degree in psychology or a related field is required. Previous experience of conducting research within psychology or similar area is particularly meritorious. Being able to read and understand scientific articles in English is a requirement. Very good knowledge of English (both speaking and writing) is also required as the research group has strong international collaborations and much of the communication is therefore being conducted in English. As a person, you are social, can work independently, take own initiatives and are meticulous. We will attach great importance to your personal qualities and personal suitability.
