Do you want to contribute to improving human health?

We are seeking two motivated individuals to contribute to the development of methods for targeting extracellular vesicles for diagnostic purposes.

Description of the subject area

Our group has expertise in the analysis of extracellular vesicles. Since these are released by all cells and found in bodily fluids, they represent promising targets for the early diagnosis of diseases, such as cancer.

Your mission

We are looking for ambitious research assistants to develop methods for isolating extracellular vesicles from bodily fluids, as well as the analytical methods for identifying the molecular signatures of disease they carry.

Your profile

The ideal candidate would be a motivated and team-oriented individual with strong English skills and a basic knowledge of extracellular biology. The research will involve laboratory work including cell culture, blood and biofluid handling, as well as various molecular biology techniques.

The candidate must:

  • Have completed an undergraduate degree in biology or basic medical training.
  • Have laboratory experience in molecular biology.
  • Have experience with human biofluid samples.
  • The ability to understand and communicate in English so that they can work independently.
