We are looking for a postdoctoral candidate that will work on the nanoscale bioparticle characterization. The project will be performed at the Cell Signalling, Immunity and Nanoimaging (CSI:Nano) Lab at SciLifeLab at Karolinska Institute led by Asst. Prof. Erdinc Sezgin.
SciLifeLab and KI are excellent places to carry out basic biomedical research with clinical potential. The lab is in the intersection of biology, chemistry, physics and engineering, aiming to reveal the molecular codes of cellular physiology and diseases. The candidate will greatly benefit from this interdisciplinary environment and unique infrastructure.
This position is for 2 years full-time employment with a potential 2-year prolongation. Start date is latest May 2024 but this can be discussed.
The postdoctoral fellow will further develop single particle profiling technology recently published by our lab (Sych et al, Nature Biotechnology, 2023).

To be eligible for employment as a postdoctor a doctoral degree or a foreign degree deemed to be equivalent to a doctoral degree is required. This eligibility requirement must be fulfilled at the latest at the time of the employment decision. It is considered as an advantage if you have completed your doctoral degree within the last three years, if there are special reasons, your degree may have been completed earlier.

The postdoctoral researcher will be based at SciLifeLab in Solna where the working atmosphere is international with English as the working language.
