This work will primarily focus on the differential assessment of genomic and proteomic profiles in MS and related disorders to identify biological targets that can be used a predictive biomarker for disease activity and clinical course. MS is a chronic and often debilitating disease of the central nervous system with a tremendous impact on individuals, their families, and society. Therefore, our mission is to understand better the biological mechanisms driving MS and how associated biological targets can be translated to clinically relevant instruments with clinical diagnostics and prognostic value.
