Do you want to contribute to top quality medical research?

At the Institute for Environmental Medicine (IMM), research is conducted in toxicology, physiology, epidemiology, environmental and occupational medicine. IMM also acts as a scientific advisor to authorities in the field of environmental medicine, and IMM researchers participate in national and international expert groups that conduct risk assessments or develop guidelines.

The research at IMM's Toxicology unit revolves around the molecular signaling that regulates the decision between life and death at the cellular level, as well as how its deregulation is involved in various disease processes in humans. Examinations are performed in various disease models, ranging from cancer to neurodegenerative diseases. For more information, visit: https://ki.se/en/imm/unit-of-toxicology.
