The Pete Williams Research group (Glaucoma) within the Division of Eye and Vision seeks to recruit an postdoctoral researcher to contribute to research on ocular neurodegeneration. The group is uniquely placed for translational research thanks to its location within St. Erik Eye Hospital adjacent to the Solna research campus.

Your mission

The successful applicant will conduct research with a focus on ocular neurodegeneration. The group seeks to strengthen its focus on novel treatment strategies focusing on both neuroinflammation and neuronal metabolism. The candidate is expected to maintain established networks and collaborations (basic, translational, and clinical in nature) with other groups at the division, department, at KI, nationally and internationally, as well as outreach to the general society, in addition to key industry / pharma partners that the lab is working with.
