The research at the division of Paediatric Neurology at the Department of Women´s and
Children´s Health is interdisciplinary, ranging from molecular biology and genetics to neurophysiology and different kinds of brain imaging to studies in function, behaviour, clinical symptoms, treatment as well as social ability.

Your mission

As a postdoctoral fellow, you will carry out projects to evaluate gait and functional movement, as well as patient-reported outcome (PROM) in both children and adults with musculoskeletal problems. You will be responsible for structuring large amounts of data in a database, processing data and statistical analyses from 3D motion analysis. Good knowledge of software such as Nexus, Polygon and Matlab is a requirement. You will be involved in data collection with 3D motion analysis recording, for which practical experience is required. The employment as a postdoctoral fellow also includes implementation of new data, development of digital systems for collecting data that can be used in both clinic and research and development of new measurement methods and development of questionnaires to measure patients' own perception of outcomes. The ability to lead research projects, supervise students and attract research grants is highly valued.

Your profile

To be eligible for employment as a postdoctor a doctoral degree or a foreign degree deemed to be equivalent to a doctoral degree is required. This eligibility requirement must be fulfilled at the latest at the time of the employment decision. It is considered as an advantage if you have completed your doctoral degree within the last three years, if there are special reasons, your degree may have been completed earlier.
