Do you want to contribute to better health for all?

Your mission

We are looking for a Research Assistant (Forskningsassistent) to Marie Löf’s IMPACT Research group (https://ki.se/en/bionut/the-impact-research-group-marie-lof), working within the Work Unit of Researcher Ioannis Ioakeimidis. The group has a wide research interest, spanning from clinical studies to real world data analytics, focusing on the use of novel technologies to monitor health-related behaviors and support behavioral change. An overarching research focus for the group is the deployment and testing of digital technologies in various domains of health, including lifestyle and living environment parameter monitoring for patients and populations, with a strong interest in dietary behaviors (e.g., analysis of meals and meal patterns) and food environment parameters (e.g., food advertisements, foodscape analysis etc.). In our setting, the deployments of digital tools are supported by various national and, mainly, European research projects, realized through multi-actor collaborations.

Your profile

An educational background in nutritional and dietetic science and experience with clinical dietary consulting is preferable. Experience within EU projects, project report writing experience and authorship of scientific publications are advantages. Any previous experience in food related research is a strong advantage, especially if it concerns analysis of food content and eating behaviors. Similarly, hands-on experience with data analysis, use of statistical programs (e.g., R software), and experience conducting experiments (i.e., randomised crossover or RCT) are very relevant. Experience with eHealth data collection methodologies is also desired. Strong oral and written skills in English are required. Emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
